The Raspberry Pi Zero W extends the Pi Zero family. Launched at the end of February 2017, the Pi Zero W has all the functionality of the original Pi Zero but with added connectivity, consisting of:

• 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN
• Bluetooth 4.1 & Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)

The Raspberry Pi Zero W takes the beloved and extremely popular Pi Zero and adds wireless LAN and Bluetooth, making it perfect for embedded Internet of Things projects.

 

Unbelievably the super-small and super-affordable Raspberry Pi just got even smaller and even cheaper! Pi Zero is the heart of a Raspberry Pi on a tiny 65mm x 30mm board. With mini-HDMI, micro-B OTG USB, and the same 40-pin GPIO it still has great connectivity although you’ll probably want adapters to help you hook it up to your existing devices.

• CSI camera connector (needs adaptor cable)

Pi Zero is a cool, feature-rich single board computer. However it doesn’t come with any adapters, cables or accessories. Depending on your project, you will probably need some of the products listed below. We also have a Pi Zero W Budget Kit (at great price!) that comes with the most needed components for Pi Zero W.
